As per Article 5(2) of the PDPL, in the event the processing of data is required for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subjects are protected, to carry out the necessary work to enable you to benefit from the products and services provided, to enable our departments to carry out studies, including statistical analyses, without disclosing your identity, to carry out copying and backup procedures to prevent data loss,

As per Article 5(2) of the PDPL, in the event the processing of personal data of parties to a contract is required, provided that it is directly related to the execution or performance of this contract, to establish membership on our website (logging in via email address using a one-time password (OTP) and updating account details), to provide the product or service you have purchased from Baguette Jewellery (receiving payment for the product via credit card, bank transfer or mail order form, etc.; issuing invoices/receipts; dispatching goods by courier; assessing return requests and directing them to the appropriate courier company, etc.), to carry out post-sale activities such as repairs; to use the photograph uploaded by you as part of the Instant Memories collection, which is transformed into a portrait for use on the product; to prepare product orders; to send notifications regarding Baguette Jewellery website memberships (renewal, expiry, etc.); and to notify you of any changes or updates to membership and/or return conditions;

In the event you give explicit consent, to send commercial electronic messages to you regarding discounts, events, special occasions, new collections and various customer satisfaction surveys, and to process your personal data for this purpose;

When transferring your personal data, we comply with the provisions set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the PDPL, and appropriate technical and organizational measures are taken to ensure data security throughout the sharing process and thereafter.


5. Method and Legal Basis for the Collection of Personal Data

Your personal data, which we process for the purposes and on the grounds listed above, is collected electronically during your application for membership of the website, throughout your membership, or during a purchase if you continue to shop without becoming a member, or verbally and in writing when you communicate with us via various communication channels.


6. Rights of the Data Subject

As a data subject, if you wish to exercise any of your rights regarding your personal data under Article 11 of the PDPL, please submit your request in writing using the application form available at the application form which we have prepared in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Applications to the Data Controller, via email to the email address shop@baguettejewellery.com using a secure electronic signature, mobile signature, or the email address you previously provided to the Company and which is registered in our systems. The Company will process your requests within this scope free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request, and will notify you in writing or electronically. However, should the process incur additional costs, a fee in accordance with the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.
